Job Opportunity: Bookkeeper (part-time)

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Reconciling cash, bank accounts and revenues
  • Maintaining an accurate general ledger, making adjustments as needed
  • Creating journal entries
  • Issuing invoices to and collecting payments from customers
  • Collecting information for auditing purposes
  • Other tasks as assigned.

 

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and organizational skills, and pay attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks (or comparable accounting software
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • Minimum of five years accounting/bookkeeping experience

 

This position is part-time 14 hours per week

Location: Hybrid- office is located in Morningside Heights in NYC.

Pay: Hourly range between $45-$65 depending on experience
