Morashah - RA Legacy Society

Image
morashah

The Rabbinical Assembly’s planned giving program, the RA Morashah Society, will ensure the future of our Rabbinical Assembly for years to come, providing for the support and care of future generations of Rabbis.

For more than a century, our Rabbinical Assembly has been at the forefront of our Conservative/Masorti Movement in strengthening the rabbinate and shaping Jewish life. Our RA, which comprises more than 1600 members globally, is hard at work transforming our organization and our Conservative/Masorti Movement to meet the needs of the 21st century and beyond.

Morashah Society members create an ongoing legacy that helps us continue to support and connect our rabbis, strengthen the Conservative/Masorti movement, help us bring our Torah into the world, and strengthen our organization.

Whether as a pledge of a planned gift, or as a one-time donation or set of donations during one's lifetime, pledges and gifts of all amounts are accepted to the RA's Legacy Fund.

  • Gifts of over $10,000 can establish a named fund;
  • Gifts over $25,000 establish a named fund dedicated to a specific purpose.

The Legacy Fund is invested to generate income plus principal growth; unless a donor establishes a "spend down" policy for the fund, only a sustainable percentage will be used annually from a named fund (much like an endowment).

If you have already designated the RA in your estate plans or if you intend to, we are grateful for your support and we look forward to welcoming you into the RA Morashah Society. Please fill out the gift disclosure form/ letter of intent below so we can recognize and thank you for your support.

Legacy giving does not require great wealth, only great commitment. Click here to see who has already joined the Morashah Society. If you have any questions, or would like to have a conversation about your legacy, please email our CEO, Jacob Blumenthal.
