Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Reconciling cash, bank accounts and revenues
- Maintaining an accurate general ledger, making adjustments as needed
- Creating journal entries
- Issuing invoices to and collecting payments from customers
- Collecting information for auditing purposes
- Other tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
- Strong communication and organizational skills, and pay attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks (or comparable accounting software
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- Minimum of five years accounting/bookkeeping experience
This position is part-time 14 hours per week
Location: Hybrid- office is located in Morningside Heights in NYC.
Pay: Hourly range between $45-$65 depending on experience
