The Rabbinical Assembly, the international membership organization of Conservative rabbis is hiring a Project Manager to support the Director of Placement.
Responsibilities include:
Placement office 75% time:
- Administrative support including managing calendars, scheduling appointments, booking travel arrangements, correspondence and phone messages
- Project management and follow-up, assistance with logistics around the office and for projects of the organization
- Coordinating logistics for meetings including: arranging conference calls, meeting room reservations, and food ordering
- Interfacing with potential employers to orient them to the search process
- Supporting RA members in the placement process including:
- Reviewing resumes
- Conducting intake interview with members
- Assist members needing help with the placement website
- Maintain data and analyze statistics related to employment opportunities and position details
- Maintain placement section of the website including updating position status and keeping resources updated
Office management 25% time:
- Order supplies
- Communicate with office related vendors and building maintenance (Internet, copy machine, IT provider, etc)
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail needs
- Coordinate with Director of Operations to execute office management related tasks
- Maintain general cleanliness of the office
Requirements:
- BA, some administrative/office experience
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Ability to manage and execute numerous projects simultaneously
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Facility with HTML, and content management systems, especially Drupal
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
- Flexible and willing to work as part of a team
- Knowledge of Hebrew, passion for Jewish life and culture a plus
