Senior Rabbi Supervisors Learning Cohort

Thank you for your interest in applying for the Senior Rabbi Supervisors Learning Cohort. To apply, please fill out this application by Friday, May 2. To fully benefit from participating in a Learning Cohort, it's essential to commit to attending each meeting consistently (barring rabbinic emergencies).

Six Tuesdays: June 24, August 5, September 9, November 4, December 9, January TBD from 12 PM - 1:30 PM ET (9 AM - 10:30 AM PT & 7 PM - 8:30 PM Israel)

Please note that instead of meeting as a group during the month of July, you’ll have the opportunity to meet 1-on-1 with the group facilitator.

This learning cohort, facilitated by Michelle Brody, is designed for senior rabbis who are welcoming (or have recently welcomed) a new assistant rabbi—including seasoned rabbis and those stepping into a senior role for the first time. With a strong focus on the senior-assistant rabbi relationship, the cohort will explore how to establish a healthy and effective partnership from the very beginning. Participants will engage with strategies around supervision, mentor-mentee dynamics, and clear communication—laying the groundwork for long-term success and collaboration.

Note: We will be offering a parallel cohort to new assistant rabbis.
