Through this year's annual campaign, we are proud to honor our colleagues Stewart Vogel and Debra Newman Kamin for their years-long dedication to our Rabbinical Assembly. Both Debra and Stewart’s presidencies occurred during a time of deep challenge to our RA and to virtually all our communal institutions, but both, nonetheless, through their example and inspired leadership, led our Assembly to greater strength and achievement. During a period of transition in our professional leadership, in her volunteer capacity, Debra worked closely and constantly with our outstanding staff; and Stewart, whose presidency began and concludes under the grip of Covid-19, through his tenacious spirit, insured that the pandemic would not inhibit our RA’s role as a sustaining force among our rabbis and our communities.

We our blessed with exemplary professional leaders. Together with our dedicated and diligent volunteer core, led by Debra and Stewart, there is considerable achievement to celebrate, and so much good, God-willing, yet to come.

As we are all impacted - directly or indirectly - by their incredible work, we invite you to support our campaign in their honor with a donation. We understand the present economic crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted many members of our community. Your support through this campaign will allow us to fund the important work of our RA. We draw your attention to our Annual Report, which documents the extent to which our RA has strengthened rabbis and brought communities world-wide closer to the texts, practices and values that we so cherish.

A celebration honoring Debra and Stewart will be held on March 29^th.

Host Committee members are expected to pledge to make a gift at any level and recruit at least three donors. We also encourage committee members to share our campaign with their social networks.
