In the current challenging times when hospitals are overrun with patients and lack sufficient personnel and material resources to treat them all as they normally would, deciding who gets what interventions has become necessary. Rabbis Elliot Dorff and Daniel Nevins have written two differing applications of the Jewish tradition on this complicated and significant matter.
