Rabbi Elliot Schoenberg, Associate Executive Director and International Director of Career Services Elliot Schoenberg has served as the International Director of the Joint Placement Commission since 1991. Schoenberg received his B.A. degree from Brandeis University. He was ordained a rabbi and received a Master’s Degree in Talmud from The Jewish Theological Seminary. He is board certified as a chaplain by the National Association of Jewish Chaplains and certified as a disaster chaplain by the Disaster Chaplaincy of New York. He received certification in Type B Psychological Assessment from CPP International. In 2009 he was the first rabbi certified by the National Career Development Association as a Certified Master Career Development Professional (MCDP). In 2011 he was certain a Master Practitioner for the MBTI. Before coming to the Rabbinical Assembly, Rabbi Schoenberg held pulpit positions for almost fifteen years, first as assistant to Rabbi Samuel Chiel at Temple Emanuel in Newton and then as senior rabbi of Temple Aliyah in Needham, both in Massachusetts. He was well known as a master teacher and inspiring preacher. |

Rabbi Bill Lebeau, Senior Consultant for Rabbinic and Institutional Leadership Rabbi Lebeau brings a wealth of experience with more than three decades of compassionate interaction with colleagues. He is the former Dean of The Rabbinical School, Vice Chancellor and Chairman of the Department of Professional Skills, and Lecturer of Professional Skills at the Jewish Theological Seminary of America. His first pulpit position was in Port Jefferson Station, New York, where he grew the congregation from 50 to 750 members during his 13 year tenure. He later served for ten years as the rabbi of North Suburban Synagogue Beth El in Highland Park, Illinois before joining the JTS faculty. |

Emily Hendel, Career Center Coordinator Ms. Hendel has been with the Rabbinical Assembly since 2014. She received a B.S. in Psychology and B.A. in Sociology from the University of Florida. She went on to Brooklyn Law School, where she received her J.D. in 2013, was admitted to the New York and New Jersey Bars and practiced civil defense litigation before joining the RA Staff. She has also been a fitness instructor for 10 years and counting. |
