Dear friends,
We are reaching out to you as your colleagues, friends, and chairs of this year’s Rabbinical Assembly Annual Campaign. Over the past year and a half, we have witnessed, more than ever, the importance of supporting one another as rabbis.
Our RA has also been a source of strength during moments of joy and celebration, as well as the most difficult times. It is in times of crisis and in times of triumph that we see the true value of the community we have built within our RA. It is also in the day-to-day resources that our RA provides to colleagues that we see its vital work.
Last year alone, our RA hosted more than 300 programs, classes, and workshops. Our RA staff and our RA colleagues continue to expand the ways that our RA can be of support and provide valuable professional resources such as pastoral care, rabbinic mentorship, tools for the rabbinate, discrete financial assistance to those in need, and professional guidance.
In recognition of our RA's vital role in our lives and work, and in celebration of a significant milestone, we are proud to announce that this year's Annual Campaign will honor the 40th anniversary of the ordination of women in the Conservative/Masorti Movement. As two of the more than 300 women who are part of our RA today, we are deeply grateful for all our RA has done to foster inclusivity and support the integration of women over the last four decades.
While much of our RA’s operating budget is supported by dues, investments, and grants, a portion of our annual budget comes from fundraising. We ask you to consider making a contribution to our Annual Campaign, or even to increase your gift this year, to support our RA’s mission, and to celebrate 40 years of women in our Rabbinical Assembly through an additional contribution to the Women of Our RA Fund.

We also invite you to make an additional contribution to the Women of Our RA Fund. This dedicated fund ensures that our women colleagues receive the support they need to thrive. Contributions to this fund enable: a professional development retreat and tailored workshops and resources as well as scholarships for increased accessibility to in-person RA programming.
