In light of the recent Supreme Court decisions in West Virginia v. B.P.J. and Little v. Hecox, the Rabbinical Assembly and Tzedek Center reaffirm our commitment to the full dignity, inclusion, and rights of transgender and all queer individuals in all areas of public and private life. We strongly condemn legal efforts that seek to marginalize, harm, or shame LGBTQ+ individuals.
We encourage our members to affirm, welcome, and support transgender and other queer individuals and to advocate for policies that uphold the fundamental rights and inviolable dignity of all LGBTQ+ individuals.
RA positions on U.S. public policy reflect the consensus of our members, as expressed through our organizational resolution process, though not every member may agree.
