Julie Schonfeld served on the 2012-2013 President’s Advisory Council on Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships. This interfaith body spent nearly nine months studying the issue of human trafficking, also known as modern-day slavery, and issued a report with recommendations to both the private and public sectors on how to end this human rights atrocity.
