Position Title: (Part Time- 21.5 Hours weekly) Global Engagement Associate
Job Description:
The Global Engagement Associate will attend to the global nature of our RA community connecting colleagues personally, professionally, and through our shared work of bringing Torah to our communities. Based in Israel, the GEA will promote the global nature of our RA and ensure that the perspective of global colleagues is a part of our everyday mission.
Connecting Colleagues serving Globally:
- Develop and implement a vision for the formation of affinity groups and networks for colleagues living in Israel, Europe and Latin America with clear goals and methods of operation/plan to operationalize those goals
- Foster personal and professional connections between rabbis serving within global regions
- Build systems to create relationships between rabbis who are serving in locations far from support of local regions
Supporting and Strengthening Rabbis:
- Ensure that rabbis needing support receive pastoral care from our RA
- Create regional and cross regional in-person and virtual gatherings
- Create opportunities to learn and create Torah together within and across global regions
- Connect global colleagues with the resources of our career center
Build our Global RA:
- Serve as a voice for global awareness in all the work of our RA.
- Work within the existing structures of the regions to support the needs of their constituents.
- Establish connections between students in rabbinical schools outside of North America. to our RA and continue to nurture that connection for their first 5 years in the field.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- RA member in good standing
- Ideally lives and has permission to work in Israel; only candidates willing to live outside of North America will be considered
- Fluent in reading and writing in Hebrew and English. Fluency in Spanish a plus.
- Well-developed outreach, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong listening skills and pastoral presence
- Annual travel to global regions on rotation
Salary and Benefits: 30,000 USD
Reports to: Senior Director of Member Engagement
Location: To be supported out of office of Masorti Olami in Jerusalem

מנהל המעורבות העולמית יתמוך באופי הגלובלי של קהילת כנסת הרבנים שלנו ויקשר בין עמיתים באופן אישי, מקצועי ובאמצעות עבודתנו המשותפת להפצת תורה לקהילותינו. ממקום מושבו בישראל הוא יקדם את האופי הגלובלי של כנסת הרבנים שלנו ויבטיח שנקודת המבט של עמיתים מרחבי העולם היא חלק ממשימתנו היומיומית.
קישור בין עמיתים המשרתים ברחבי העולם:
פיתוח ויישום חזון להקמת קבוצות אחווה ורשתות לעמיתינו החיים בישראל, אירופה ואמריקה הלטינית עם יעדים ברורים ושיטות פעולה ברורות להפעלתם.
טיפוח קשרים אישיים ומקצועיים בין רבנים המשרתים ברחבי העולם.
בניית מערכות ליצירת יחסים בין רבנים המשרתים במקומות רחוקים מתמיכה של אזורים לוקאליים.
תמיכה וחיזוק לרבנים
הבטחה שרבנים הזקוקים לתמיכה יקבלו סיוע וליווי רוחני מכנסת הרבנים שלנו.
יצירת כנסים אזוריים ובין אזוריים במפגשים פנים אל פנים ווירטואליים.
יצירת הזדמנויות ללימוד משותף וליצירת תורה בתוך ובין אזורים גלובליים.
קישור עמיתים ברחבי העולם עם משאבי המרכז המקצועי שלנו.
בניית כנסת הרבנים העולמית שלנו
ישמש קול למודעות גלובאלית בכל תחומי עבודת כנסת הרבנים.
עבודה במסגרת המבנים הקיימים של האזורים לתמיכה בצרכים של חבריהם.
יצירת קשרים בין תלמידי בתי המדרש לרבנים מחוץ לצפון אמריקה לכנסת הרבנים שלנו והמשך טיפוח קשר זה בחמש השנים הראשונות לעבודתם.
כישורים רצויים ודרישות התפקיד:
חברות בתוקף בכנסת הרבנים
באופן אידיאלי, מגורים והיתר עבודה בישראל; המשרה מיועדת רק לרבנים המוכנים לחיות מחוץ לצפון אמריקה.
שליטה מלאה (כולל קריאה וכתיבה) בעברית ובאנגלית. שליטה בשפה הספרדית – יתרון.
כישורים מפותחים בתחומי תקשורת, יישוג ויחסים בין אישיים.
כישורי הקשבה חזקים ונוכחות רוחנית.
נסיעה שנתית לאזורים גלובליים ברוטציה.
שכר ונלוות: 30,000 דולר אמריקאי.
