Encore Conference 2019: Preparing for Retirement

A one-day conference to envision what retirement might look like. The seminar will focus on the financial, psychological and practical aspects of retirement. The Joint Retirement Board of the Conservative movement will present on financial matters and help explain social security benefits. Other topics to be discussed are: Being an emeritus, balancing work and family, and reimagining your rabbinic identity.
We will answer questions such as:
- What do rabbis find stressful as they begin retirement?
- How do you mitigate financials concerns?
- Is there a difference between parsonage now and when you take retirement?
- What should your investment strategy be between now and when you retire?
- What will the first day of your retirement look like?
A joint initiative of the Career Center of the Rabbinical Assembly and the Joint Retirement Board.
