Pastoral Outreach Team

Request Pastoral Outreach: The RA is our rabbi, and our colleagues are the Rabbinical Assembly’s spiritual community. As rabbis, we know the power of connection. Under the guidance of Rick Sherwin and Sheryl Katzman, the RA has a program to reach out to colleagues with a call, a text, or an email. If you feel that you would benefit from occasional check-ins from a colleague, please fill out this form.

RA Care Line

The RA Care Line, is a rapid response support line for colleagues and their families under stress and/or in need of immediate counseling and advice on referrals, available 24/6.

Contact Rabbi Yaacov Rone at (646) 319-4524.

RA Spiritual Care Line

The RA Spiritual Care Line provides peer-to-peer spiritual support for people who have a one-time need to connect with an on-call RA chaplain. This support provides rabbis with the opportunity to be heard and supported by a colleague in a personal moment of crisis i.e. moments of spiritual doubt, personal or communal tragedy, or a complex pastoral situation. As rabbis we provide continual pastoral support and there is a clear need from time to time to fill our own wells through the opportunity to connect with a Spiritual Care Provider.
